From a casual meeting of neighborhood initiatives, the idea emerged to make local offerings and culture more visible. Initial discussions with community centers and cultural professionals laid the foundation.
With an interactive map of the old town, the online presence launched. Over 50 local shops, cafés, and associations registered – the response exceeded all expectations.
In collaboration with the environmental agency, a funding program for urban gardens was created. Three new community gardens were established, which are still maintained by residents today.
A permanent editorial team began regularly reporting on local culture, sustainable lifestyle, and urban development. The readership grew to over 10,000 monthly visitors.
The project received the city's award for civic engagement. The recognition helped forge new collaborations with schools and associations.
With monthly market stalls, readings, and workshops, the platform became tangible offline as well. Over 2,000 people attended the first season – a milestone for the community.
